Importance of Quran in our Life

Allah has sent innumerable prophets and messengers from age to age to guide the world humanity in this world. He has given Sahifa and Kitab as guide books to all these prophets and messengers. The greatest and last of these books is the Qur'an. Allaah has made it obligatory on Muslims to believe in the previous books and to obey the Qur'aan. The Qur'an has come to guide world humanity in the right path. Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning):

Meaning: The month of Ramadhan [is that] in which was revealed the Qur'an, a guidance for the people and clear proofs of guidance and criterion. [Al-Baqara 2:185] It has been made obligatory upon every Muslim to teach this book of guidance, the Qur'an. The Importance of Quran in our Life is discussed below:

It is obligatory to teach the Qur'an This is the first word of the Qur'an is,

Meaning: Read in the name of your Lord who created you. [Surah Alaq: 1] Through this verse, Allah has informed every Muslim that you should read, write and study in order to know, understand and adhere to the right path. That is, Allah has made it obligatory for every Muslim to acquire knowledge. And the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) gave real instructions for this. He said,

Meaning: It is the duty of every Muslim to acquire knowledge. (Sunan Ibn Majah) In addition to acquiring knowledge, Allah has made it obligatory on every Muslim to teach the Qur'an. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) instructed the Muslims about this and said:

Meaning: You teach the Qur'an and Faraiz (law of inheritance) and teach people because I will be taken away. ” (Sunan at-Tirmidhi) Therefore, it is incumbent upon us to teach the Qur'an and the fara'iz (law of succession) in knowledge and to conduct every aspect of life in its light.

Learning the Qur'an is the greatest form of worship

Studying the Qur'an, trying to know and understand the Qur'an is the best thing in the world. Because in this Qur'an, there is a way of life, the right path of guidance. At the beginning of every work, the Prophet (peace be upon him) said to start by reciting Bismillah (in the name of Allah). But before starting any work, he did not ask to seek refuge in Allah with 'Auzubillahi Minash Shaitarij Razim' i.e. Satan's intrigue. However, before doing such a work, Allah Himself has asked us to seek refuge in Allah from the plots of Satan, that is, the time of reciting or studying the Qur'an. This is stated in the Qur'an,

"So when you read the Qur'an, seek refuge in Allah from Satan the outcast." (Surat an-Nahl: 97) It is known from this statement of Al-Quran that Satan gives intrigue in all matters, but he gives the most intrigue while studying Qur'an. Because Satan always try to distract people from understand the Qur'an. Satan feel happy when Muslims turn away from the Qur'an. That is why Allah has spoken of seeking refuge from Satan while studying the Qur'an. That is why we should try our best to know and understand Al-Quran.

Al-Quran is the only book of guidance

The Qur'an is the only book of guidance for world humanity. It is this Qur'an that can guide all the people of the world to the right path and enlighten them in the light of guidance. Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning):

“Surely this Qur'an shows the way which is the simplest and gives glad tidings to the believers who do good deeds that for them is a great reward. And for those who do not believe in the Hereafter, We have prepared for them a painful torment. (Surah Bani Isra'il - 9-10)

“Surely there has come to you from Allah a light and a clear Book. Through it, Allah guides those who follow His pleasure, and by His permission He brings them out of darkness into light. And guide them to a straight path. ” (Surat al-Ma'ida: 15-16)

Guidance cannot be sought from anyone other than the Qur'an. If anyone does this, Allah Himself will lead him astray. This has been narrated in Al-Hadith,

"Whoever seeks guidance from other than the Qur'an, Allah will lead him astray." (Sunan at-Tirmidhi) Therefore, the only way to know Islam, the way of life, is to study the only book of guidance, the Qur'an.

The Qur'an contains solutions to all problems:

Allah has given everything in the Qur'an that is necessary for managing the life of the world humanity. There is nothing for man that is needed but it is not mentioned in the Qur'an. Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning): And We have sent down to you the Book as an explanation for all things, and guidance and mercy and good tidings for the Muslims.

And We have sent down to you the Book as a clear explanation of all things, as guidance, mercy and good news for the Muslims. (Surat an-Nahl: 69)

If one adheres fully to this book as a guide to his life, then he will attain perfection in all respects. And if he denies something, then he will be harmed in this world and in the Hereafter. Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning):

Do you believe in some parts of the Book and disbelieve in others? So what is the reward for those of you who do that without humiliation in the life of this world? And on the Day of Resurrection they will be thrown into the most severe torment. “(Surat al-Baqara, 65)

So we should learn the Qur'an, be aware of all the provisions of the Qur'an and adhere to the Qur'an in every aspect of life, then we can be liberated in this world and in the hereafter.

The path to learning the Qur'an is the path to paradise

The importance of learning the Qur'an has been given so much importance that if anyone goes out on the road for teaching the Qur'an or teaching the religion, he goes out in the way of Allah. And he remained in the way of Allah until he returned from this work. This has been narrated in Al-Hadith, On the other hand, the owner said, "The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, will come out.

It is narrated on the authority of Anas bin Malik that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: Whoever goes out to teach the religion, he goes out in the way of Allaah until he returns. (Sunan at-Tirmidhi)

The way to acquire knowledge of religion is the way to paradise. So if a person walks on the road to acquire knowledge, he will find Paradise at some point while walking on this path. And if he dies while on this path, Allah will give him Paradise. This has been narrated in Al-Hadith,

On the authority of Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him): I am the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, he said,

It is narrated on the authority of Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said: May Allah make the way to Paradise easy for him so that he may acquire knowledge. ” (Sahih Muslim and Tirmidhi)

As a Muslim, our responsibility is to go anywhere in order to learn the Qur'an.

The Hypnotic Power of the Qur'an:

The disbelievers of Makkah have been trying to keep people away from listening to the Qur'an since the earliest times so that people could not accept it. About this Allah says,

And those who disbelieve say: Do not listen to the recitation of this Quran and make noise while reciting it, that you may be victorious. (Surah Ha-Mim-As-Sajda-28)

Overcoming the obstacles of the disbelievers, the common people of Makkah used to listen to the recitation of the Qur'an and rush towards Islam. It is narrated that once Hazrat Omar (RA) was walking by the side of Baitullah while the Prophet (SAW) was reciting the Qur'an in the prayer. At that time the Prophet (peace be upon him) recited,

And this is not about a poet. You hardly believe.” (Surat al-Haqqah: 41)

Omar listened to this verse of Quran and thought in his mind how Muhammad knew my mind, then Muhammad is a fortune teller? At that time, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) recited,

Nor is it the word of a fortune teller. " (Surat al-Haqqah: 42)

Omar is shocked to hear this and thinks it is not about the poet, it is not about the fortune teller, then what is it that Muhammad is reciting? At that time the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) recited,

It has been sent down by the Lord of the worlds. (Surat al-Haqqah: 43) Soon after, Hazrat Omar was enlightened by the light of Islam and came to the Prophet (peace be upon him) and converted to Islam.

In conclusion, the right of Al-Quran is that it has to recite, know, and understand, in real life one has to follow the rules of Quran. Because this Al-Quran will testify for or against you on the Day of Resurrection. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said in this regard:

The Qur'aan will testify for you or against you. (Ahkamush-Shariah) So we all should learn Al-Quran and try to lead our lives according to Quran.
